First post of the new style and I’m feeling like a hip-hop and R&B kinda day. Two of my favorite rappers right now are Father and Little Simz, out of the Bay Area and London respectively, and they give us our first two tracks “Cheap Thrills” and “Lane Switch”. Then a new cat out of the Netherlands, Noah Jordan, drops some fire on “Mr. China”, Toro y Moi teams up with Rome Fortune on the absolutely beautiful “Pitch Black” and Javon “X” Johnson gives us some NY 90s flow on “?”. Now it’s time to switch gears a little and drop it down to a softer level. Kehlani and Ambré dropped the hella soulful “Preach” last month and it’s been sizzling, MAFFALDA ӔTERNUM out of São Paulo, Brazil flips INOJ’s “Love You Down” on “Fuck Your Feelings, Bro” and SEVDALIZA and Paris Jones round us out with their absolutely chilling tracks “MARILYN MONROE” and “You Like Me”.
