I just love some good r&b sooooooooo much. First up we’ve got Lege Kale’s monster remix of new boy Row Wood$’ “All Of You”, Elderbook’s passion filled track “Travel Slow”, LA group Penthouse Penthouse team up with Bobby Saint for “69′ Camaro” and Roy Wood$ shows us what he can do on his own on “Get You Good”. I had to include a little something to Sean Price and I found the perfect track by Taoist, “Mike Jackson, Sean Price, & Company Appreciation”, Lux.Impala gives us his take on the Kehlani & Ambré track “Preach”, which we shared a few weeks ago, and MC Pedrinho teams up with the Carioca crew for “Witness Do Pau”. Bringing us home Prince Fox smooths it out on “Wait Until Tomorrow”, Sash_S & Phil Phauler make a sleezy banger on their original mix “Falling” and SteLouse continue to drop some huge tracks with their remix Rozes’ “R U Mine”. Blasting us off is Roots Manuva out of England and his new track “One Thing”, Rebstar gets you hype for the week on “So What” and M!NT destroys his new Drake remix “Energia”. Then it’s time to explore some more of the old school sound with Stezo’s “Police Story”, Rappcats “Trouble Knows Me” and Lex Records’ own Golden Rules gets funky on “Down South Boogie”. The last few tracks are a little more chilled out with the soulful “Lupine” by Bones & Beeker, Son Little’s retro style “Lay Down”, Bryson Tiller’s “Just Another Interlude” and Rocky Church drops “There’s Something”, the kind of bubbly track that’ll be stuck in your head all week. It’s a hip-hop kinda day because the new Run The Jewels track “Meowerly” off of the Meow The Jewels album is out and I can’t wait to share it, plus K-OS dropped a total banger this weekend called “Crucify” and we’ve got that new Verse Simmonds track “DNF” with Future and Drake. Next let’s check out DC’s reflective track “They Lynched Me” featuring Aunjel Adams and segue into some bass on 8Er$ minimix of his new EP and GLD’s remix of Kanye’s “Mercy”. Last up we’ve G-Eazy’s hella hype track “You Got Me”, Problem’s newest jam “Waist My Time” featuring damn near half of The Bay, Blake Go Wavy’s 2Pac rework “Ambitionz As A Surfer” and Jared Wesley’s flowing tune “Roll Wit Me / Heartbroken, Pt. 2”.
